How to Cut JerKēto Jerky for Use in Recipes

When most people think of jerky, they think of an on-the-go snack. However, jerky is a very versatile item that can be used in many different ways. With its salty tang and high protein content make this a great addition to any low carb recipe.

However, depending on the recipe you are going to want to know the different ways to cut jerky for optimal use. The easiest and most common technique to cutting jerky is the rough chop cut. Please make sure that you take the proper safety precautions when cutting jerky. By using a cutting board, and heavy-duty, medium to large knife, you can easily chop your favorite flavor of JerKēto Jerky, keep in mind that our jerky is dried with a rough texture. We recommend going with the grain for an easier cut, but the choice is yours.

Shredded Jerky is a quick and easy method that can be used to rim the glass of your favorite Bloody Mary mix, or to top off your salad or cauliflower mashed potatoes! Start by empting the contents of your preferred JerKēto Jerky package into the food processor. Pulse between 30-60 seconds (depending on the texture you most desire). Final results should consist of different sizes ranging from small bites to flakes.

Using a high-powered blender, such as a Ninja or Vitamix is our preferred method of chopping JerKēto Jerky. Like the shredded jerky method, you will start by empting the contents of your preferred JerKēto Jerky package into the blender and begin at the lowest setting, slowly turning up the speed until you reach the half way mark (we don’t recommend blended higher than this point).

You can turn the blender off when your desired chopped texture has been reached, and should consist of jerky bits that are the same size (similar to bacon bits). Use your chopped and shredded JerKēto Jerky on a multitude of different recipes to give your spreads that extra kick and keep your friends and family guessing how your food is so delicious!
